Museum of Military History’s Purple Heart Day Ceremony & BBQ
Come on out to the Museum of Military History this Saturday, August 6th, from 11:00AM – 2:00PM as we commemorate the men and women of our Nation’s Armed Forces who have been wounded in line of duty for our country’s Freedoms and Liberties in observation of National Purple Heart Day.
The Ceremony will begin at 11:00AM and will be conducted by museum staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers along with Gueat Speakers Robert Blancher & Daniel Dapagnier, Purple Heart recipients of the Vietnam War from the Military Order of the Purple Heart. A special presentation will be given by the Museum Librarian & Historian, James Black.
Lt. Commander Keith Yarborough and the Honor Division will Present the Colors.
General Admission will be FREE with FREE complimentary BBQ Hamburger & Hotdog Lunch served after the ceremony.
