The Museum of Military History will be celebrating PURPLE HEART Day with a special Commander’s Call.  The Ceremony will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the Museum. The ceremony will be conducted by the Museum staff and a special commemoration by the Museum Director. The POW – MIA table will be presented during the Ceremony. Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony. Custom made Dog Tags will also be available for purchase with all proceeds supporting the Museum’s ability to educate people on the rich history of our military services, their contribution to our nation’s freedoms, and to gain a better understanding of what it means to serve. The event will be FREE for all Purple Heart recipients and a discounted admission fee will be required for everyone else, however the admission will be reduced by $1.00 per canned food donation. Everyone is encouraged to attend and honor these MILITARY HEROES by saying THANK YOU for giving so much to secure the freedoms we all they enjoy today.
